Our first task is waiting for you to solve it The kids were really eager to compose it, but the funny part was that it was hard to make them understand it should be in English. They brought very nice Mathematical tasks, games and crosswords, but they were in Romanian. They were quite disappointed when I could not accept those. :)
How about a Mathematical dictionary, in English and in our own languages?

I just saw your first task. That is a nice puzzle for them! I know by the way what you mean with giving a task to the other schools. It is pretty difficult to come up with something that is in English and on the right level.

Your solutions are perfekt! We could´t measure the middle of the fontain, because it is water there and it is forbidden to enter inside.
Irina, your task is very interesting, children like to solve these problems. We start to solve it this week (we have bank holiday today). Sorry, I didn´t write for a week – we have hard work at school: I have to correct 97 tests, we have class meeting with parents and consultation.
This Thursday we go to TV studio, I hope we take some photos for you.

Our solution is finally on the Twinspace. I really had to push them to hand it in. They also had a Test in Mathematics, so there was a lot of complaining... By the way, one of the solutions is wrong, although on first sight it looks correct.
Wafa's is wrong, one of the diagonals has another sum.
Yes, that is the one that I was talking about. At first sight you check all the rows and columns and they are correct, but then one diagonal is wrong. In fact, there is only one solution to this problem, not looking at rotations or mirroring. Did you like the last three pages from our powerpoint? It works on all odd squares!
